​My journey to becoming a business advisor began by working in real businesses, facing real challenges. I built my experience across multiple industries spending years in the craft beverage industry both in the wine business working in production, distribution, and customer service, as well as working my way up to Regional Sales Manager with a local coffee company. I've also worked directly with startups, helping them navigate those critical early stages. This experience taught me how businesses actually work: from making products to serving customers, from startup challenges to scaling complexities, and from helping new businesses get off the ground to driving growth in competitive markets.

Over the past three years, I've focused on comprehensive financial planning for families and businesses, helping clients align their personal and professional goals. This experience taught me that true business success isn't just about the numbers, it's about creating the freedom to focus on what you love while building something of lasting value.

Why I Founded Summits Way

Throughout my career, I've worked with restaurants and coffee shops, service businesses, tech startups, insurance agencies, breweries, and wineries. In each case, I noticed the same pattern: passionate business owners who were experts in their craft but needed guidance navigating the complex terrain of value creation and growth strategy.

That's where the idea for Summits Way was born. Just as I guide my family through hiking trails and camping adventures, I realized my calling was to be that trusted guide for business owners on their journey to the summit, helping them build valuable, transferable companies while reclaiming time to focus on what they love most about their business.
